Big Monkey is a women-owned custom t-shirt store on Butler Street in downtown Saugatuck. You bring the idea; we bring the blanks, the artwork wall and the heat press. Customers mention Mary by name for being kind and patient while they get a design just right.

1. What this is

Sending an inquiry starts a conversation only. It is not an order, a reservation of stock, or a promise that Big Monkey can take on your project. No agreement exists until Big Monkey confirms scope, pricing and timing in writing and any agreed deposit has been paid.

2. Pricing, quantities and timing

Any figures discussed are estimates until confirmed in a written quote. Quotes may change if quantities, garments, colors, artwork or deadlines change, or if supplier prices or availability change. Lead times are estimates and depend on blank availability and current workload.

3. Your artwork

You confirm that you own or have permission to use any logos, images, names or text you send, and that printing them does not infringe anyone's rights, including trademarks and copyrights. Big Monkey may decline any design at its discretion. You agree to cover Big Monkey for claims that arise from artwork you supplied.

4. Approvals and results

Custom garments are made to order. Once you approve a proof or a sample, sizing, spelling, layout and colors are considered final. Screen and printer colors vary, and garment dyes vary between lots, so exact color matches cannot be guaranteed. Custom items are generally not returnable except for a production defect.

5. Payment and cancellation

Deposits and payment terms are set in the written quote. Work does not start until any required deposit is received. Orders cancelled after blanks are purchased or production has begun may be charged for costs incurred.

6. Communication and privacy

Inquiries are sent by your own email client to bigmonkey103@gmail.com. Big Monkey uses your details only to respond to your inquiry and complete your order, and does not sell your information. Email is not a secure channel; do not send payment card numbers by email.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Big Monkey's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Big Monkey is not liable for indirect losses such as missed events, lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Big Monkey may update these terms; the version shown when you send your inquiry applies to that inquiry.
